Gary Lopez Awarded Bully of the Year

In a photo finish, the race for the first ever Bully of the Year award goes to Gary Lopez of www.capecog.com.  Lopez never met a person he didn’t want to beat on.

Maria DeMayo of bully hockey Mom infamy lost by a single vote.

Here’s the photo.  Lopez is finished.  He just doesn’t know it yet.

  1. It seems Sean Gonsalves reads your blog. Check out his story about Robert E. Powers in today’s Capd Cod Times. He used the same analogy you did about pedophile priests…..

  2. It’s a reasonable anaolgy. I can’t be the only one who thought of it!

I’m very interested in this Powers thing. No time to write about it, but wherever he goes, all litigants before him will be at risk of being abused, and the argument for gross negligence against the Commonwealth for not firing this bastard will be strong.

As it stands, there’s probably a decent class action suit in the making for allowing the pig to stink up the court house for almost five years.

There needs to be an investigation into why he was allowed to go on for so long. Surely guys like Arthur Caiado and Judge O’Neill knew Powers was out of control. What did they know and when did they know it? There is SO MUCH MORE to this story!

  3. Thanks, I heard. Amazing that so many people are still frightened of the guy. I understand that many local attorneys have clients in Taunton, and don’t want to risk retaliation from Powers while he’s still got a job.

I’m going to work with my attorney on going after Powers for the crap he pulled on both my husband and I. Depending on what is decided, this blog may be idle for awhile.

  4. **MORE BREAKING NEWS**

John Klimm has formally said no to returning as Barnstable Town Manager. He met with Fred Chirigotis this morning and left him with letter that indicates he is not interested in being Town Manager.

See the Cape Cod Times website and Barnstable Enterprise for more details

  5. The writing was on the wall when he accepted the lucrative buyout deal.
If he really wanted to be town manager, he’d have told Crocker & Co to stuff the offer where the sun don’t shine.
